So I am one of those lucky women who goes past their due date. SO LUCKY! We are now 40 weeks and 3 days…and no sign of M arriving anytime soon. Fingers crossed for us!!!! We go back to the doctor on Wednesday (unless we give birth before then) and we will then talk about induction. SO COME ON M!!! We have done so much work and research for a nice natural labor, hopefully we will be able to experience that. If not, I guess it is that whole saying we make plans and God laughs. The good news is, I still feel great and M is moving a lot! The doctor is requiring I stay home since I am now over 40 weeks. It is so weird to not be at work and I am clearly not sick. How strange! I need to make the most of this time since there will never be days like this again!
So on for the photos….get excited…I am HUGE!
And there you have it! I will try to remember to take one more photo before M is born. So anxious to meet this sweet little baby! Hopefully it will be sooner than later!

first of all, you look gorgeous and i'm so happy you are feeling great! second, a "normal" gestation for a human baby is up to 42 weeks so don't feel like you are "overdue" by any means and certainly don't let your doctor talk you into an induction. it only creates a higher risk for you and the baby. there has never been a baby that refused to complete it's mission of you know...being born :-) it's just that our society sets these numbers and restrictions on ourselves and baby and when it hasn't arrived "on time" we are told something should be "done". have faith in your baby that he/she will know when he/she is ready and will not come a MOMENT sooner or later.
